Pacific Place Parking Garage
Mosaic conducted an evaluation of the entrance ramp and underground parking garage at 22 Fourth Street. The ramp showed no signs of water penetration, but leaks were reported through the 1st level landing slab during heavy rain. The trench drain system experienced clogging and overflow during rain events. Mosaic recommended replacing the existing 3-inch drains with 4-inch drains, upgrading the grating systems, and improving sealant joints. They also suggested flood testing the slab, installing a traffic coating, and creating a raised edge to prevent water flow down the ramp. These recommendations aimed to address the water intrusion issues and improve drainage in the garage.
